Radshield safety features

Rounded corners and edges for safety and hygiene

Independently tested to BS3528:

Over a 24 hour period Radshields had no detectable hot spots and delivered 92% of the radiator output to the room. The highest recorded surface temperature was 39.9°C at the top grilles when the radiator had been running at 91°C for eight hours continuously.

This is a performance far in excess of the current DSS Engineering department guidelines, which require a surface temperature of 43°C or less when the radiator flow temperature is 82°C

Materials tested and approved to BS 476 Part 7 (class one fire retardant)

Class ‘0’ at extra cost
